Van Buren Public Transit Services
Demand Response Service (Dial A Ride) and Reservations
Van Buren Public Transit provides curb to curb services anywhere within Van Buren County. Van Buren's service area is divided into four zones. 
For those who wish to travel outside of Van Buren County, it is important to call dispatch at least 24-Hours prior to your ride. Pick-up times subject to availability. Reservations to travel outside of the county will only be accepted for trips that are for medical and legal purposes and is based on availability and on a first called/first served basis. Rides are $10, one way, for seniors 60+ and individuals with disabilities, regular fare is $20, one way.

South Haven Area Dial-A-Ride Service and Reservations
Van Buren Public Transit also provides Dial a Ride services in South Haven. South Haven Area Dial-A-Ride Service is available for residents in the City of South Haven, South Haven Township, Geneva Township (west of 68th Street) and Covert Township. Service hours are as followed:
Zones 3: Monday thru Friday Pick-up 10 am-10:30 am Tuesdays Pick-up for return 3 pm- 3:30 pm Mon, Wed. Th, Fri. Pick-up for return 4 pm- 4:30 pm
Paw Paw Area Dial-A-Ride Service
Van Buren Public Transit also provides dial a ride services in Paw Paw. Paw Paw Area Dial-A-Ride Services is available for residents in Waverly Township, Paw Paw Township, Village of Paw Paw, Antwerp Township, Almena Township (limited), Lawton Village, and Mattawan Village.
Zone 1: Monday thru Thursday 10 am-4 pm, Friday 10 am-3 pm
Zone 2: Reservations, based on availability.
Paw Paw Area Dial A Ride Zone Map
Call our Scheduling Office at 269-427-7921 or 1-800-828-2015 if you live in Decatur, Mattawan, Lawton, or Gobles. Rides are reserved on a first-called/first-served, space available basis. Reservations are taken Monday through Friday from: 6:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Saturday:10:00 am-4:00 pm closed Sunday. Capacity and schedules are limited, so please call as soon as possible.
When Will I Be Picked Up and Returned Home
When scheduling a ride, you will be given a 15 minute time frame for your pickup (e.g. pickup time for a 10 a.m. appointment may be between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.) Pickup times for transit between communities or outside city limits may vary by more than 30 minutes.
You may wait in your residence until the driver arrives. He/She will honk the horn and can wait for up to three (3) minutes only so please be ready. For your return trip, the driver will pick you up within 15 minutes of your requested return time. Should your trip times change, or you wish to cancel, please notify the scheduling office immediately.
