Reduced or Free Rides

There are several ways you can save money when traveling with transit. Whether you are a senior, veteran or have a disability, there is a program designed just for you! In this section you will find the following resources:

Reduced Fare Card Program

Seniors (ages 60 and older) and persons with disabilities are eligible to receive half-off the regular fares for any public transportation system.

Medicaid HMO Medical Transportation 

HMO organizations have contracts with the State of Michigan to provide transportation as part of the agreement. If you discover you have an HMO you will need to call the phone number on the back of your Medicaid card for transportation information.

Students Discounts

There are several programs that allows students to travel to and from class or during the summer at a reduced rate.

Senior Shopping Shuttle Services

Provides seniors free or low-cost transportation to obtain groceries from local stores.  

Veteran Shuttle Services

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) provides shuttle bus service that transports veterans to the hospital in Battle Creek and clinic in Mishawaka, Indiana for medical appointments.

Casino Shuttle Services 

Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo provides shuttle service from to and from several pickup locations in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan for just $6 dollars round trip.
