Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corporation is a government-owned corporation that was organized in 1971 to provide intercity passenger rail services in the United States. Everyday Amtrak connects people to over 500 destinations in 46 states.  Michigan’s three Amtrak lines are the Wolverine, Blue Water, and Pere Marquette.
