Demand-Response Service (Dial-A-Ride)

The Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) provides curb to curb same day services within the City of Benton Harbor, St Joseph, Benton Township, and to and from the Royalton Township medical offices. Pick-up times subject to availability.  Find more information about TCATA's demand response service here. 

Fixed Route Service                     

The Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) provides fixed-route service which is a shared ride, public transportation service that follows a defined route, picking up and dropping off passengers at designated stops. The fixed-route buses will also flex along its route. Find more information about the fixed-route system here.

Complementary Paratransit Service

Complementary Paratransit is a transportation service for persons with disabilities who, because of a disability, cannot use the existing fixed-route service.  Within the region, the Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) is the only public transit system  that provides  complementary paratransit services,  TCATA ACCESS Paratransit Service

ADA Policy

The Americans with Disabilities Act, Title II, states, in part, that “no otherwise qualified disabled individual shall, solely by reason of such disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in programs, services or activities sponsored by a public entity.” At TCATA, we are committed to complying with the requirements of Title II of the ADA in all of its programs, services, benefits and activities.

TCATA's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Discrimination and Accessibility Complaint Procedure is established to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of services, activities, programs or benefits by TCATA.

Charter Service

TCATA does not provide charter service. Due to governmental restrictions, as a publicly-funded agency TCATA  is prohibited from competing with private enterprises.
