Van Buren Public Transit Fares & Passes

Fares and Passes

Upon boarding the bus, it is required that riders pay the exact fare as no change can be refunded. Some individuals find that purchasing the pre-paid fare cards are more convenient. Click here to view or print the Van Buren Transit Brochure!

How to use a Pre-paid Fare Card

Upon boarding the bus driver will punch the appropriate amount of punches that will equal the total amount of fare for your particular trip. Ex.You will notice there are several .50 cent punches on the card. If you are a Senior and the total cost for your trip is $2.00, the bus driver will punch four .50 cent squares on the fare card which equals the total amount for that trip.
